DEERTRACK BOWHUNTERS EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

Call to Order: 7:08 p.m.

 Present:

            Jay Roy, Mike Koskey, Eric Booth, Frank Bailey

Treasurer’s Report: (On file)

            Accepted: Mike (1), Frank (2); (unanimous)

Range Report:

            N/A

Old Business:

            Derek Swajanen and George Hyde have been approached for trading membership for legal advice.  This was voted and passed last meeting. 

Range Safety Class discussed.

Superiorland Bowhunters Shoot is this weekend.  Karol Peterson will be invited to attend.

Antler Tree Service Shoot has been cancelled this year. Vern has had health issues.

New Business:

            Club Cleanup date is December 4^th at 9:00 a.m.  Those willing but unable to attend are asked to pitch- in December 2^nd at 3:00.

            The clubhouse lock will be changed.

            Older targets will be used for broadheads.

            Reminder signs “NO BROADHEADS” will be place in strategic locations. There will also be notification regarding broadheads on registration forms.

            Targets will be stenciled identifying ownership.

            Complaint about protruding distance markers discussed.

            Complaint from individual getting lost on range discussed.

            Club President will inquire of Mrs. Peterson in regards to property taxes to ensure the club is covering them fully.

            September 17 will be the last scheduled meeting of the year.
