"This is my first archery kill elk in 6
trips out west. I had a torn rotator cuff and learned to draw with
my teeth. I took the bull at 33 yards." Vern Hansen Marquette, MI
"I also took this ten
point 188lb deer from a tree stand.Oct,16 shooting the same way.
Since that time I've had my rotator cuff surgery and looking forward to
next year for a full recovery." Vern Hansen Marquette, MI
"This eight is from my bow the first week of Nov. He was shot on my hunting property just south of the Mackinac bridge.
It was the first week of November, I had been waiting to hunt this
stand for the perfect North, Northwest wind. I wasn't in the stand 15
minutes and a buck came by chasing a doe, a few minutes later this buck
came in and gave me a perfect quartering away shot. As I turned to hang
up my bow and catch my breath I looked up and down from a thicket walked
a ten point, smaller than this buck but none the less very exciting.
Figuring I would sit till dark and enjoy the moment it wasn't long
another very respectable 8 point walked in. I just smiled and thought
when the deer gods shine, they shine bright...!!! " Tim Glover
